Drug driving

Phoned the Police to make them aware a male will be leaving to go around sites inc mines tonight .   He openly tells me he take drugs before coming out to help him- illegal drugs.    Aware of first name and company.  
Called back- cancelling the job.   If I want to call if he arrives- he is I called to check with the mainline contact.     The strange thing is he says he does some of their station's grounds!
I come off the phone thinking a simple call to the number I have- confirm the driver name and approx time arrival for xyz reason.    But no- didn't seem that bothered.  Left thinking why bother- drug driving can't be as serious as a drink or I am fairly confident digging would be done ready for him leaving his street to start his rounds.
Frustrating.  Always get told ignore the Police-useless.  Never trust them especially if working together at the event.

 I report everything to Merseyside police via their Facebook page now. No hanging on the phone, not even needing a response sometimes. Just give full factual information, date, address etc and leave it with them,

25 mins to appear when on-site when call made. Gone time arrived.  Asked details that have been taking by the call handler eg Reggy.   Explained phone this- it's his control.  You will get where he is going- 34 jobs across the early hours.  Wasn't interested.   Told him to forget it- kills somebody.  I will be speaking out as had he been drinking- a different story.   Clear Police attitude still to overtake other members of the public on drug driving.
Called 4  hours later- still no trace of him.   
Give up with them.
