Un-salable cottage

Please can anyone tell me who to turn to? I got as far as signing my side of the conveyancing document for the sale of my late mother's cottage and sent it back to my solicitor. Meantime my solicitor had received a letter from another cottage owner in the terrace saying he wanted to store his stuff by a right/clause saying…

Just a thought...
So, your neighbour has rights to use the wash house. But he doesn't own it, you do.
Question, if the wash house was removed, and I mean deliberately, and what's to stop you doing that if you own it and are not obliged by the deeds to provide a wash house, but let him use one if it exists, then that right becomes defunct ?
This would depend on the exact wording, eg are you obliged to provide a wash house, or only allow him to access a wash house that exists, so if it doesn't, no rights.
Also, he woudl then have to take legal action against you which seems unlikely, after all what are those rights worth? Very little I woudl say. Then again, IANAL.
