Aldermore DIP

Hiya! Yes is so nerve wracking lol!CLJ2986 said:Hi, I'm so glad I found this. My application went in with Aldermore Friday and I'm so relieved I'm not the only one convinced they might say no! Just curious, with the valuation, does the lender let you know when they are doing it or my broker? Might be a stupid question lol. Thanks for any replies!
no they don’t let you know but I’m in contact with the owner and she let me know they had been out. The valuation is usually the first thing Aldermore do, unless your broker requests for the underwriting to be done first, mine did this as my case was so close with affordability etc.
Good luck! Keep us updated0 -
Thanks for the reply. I can't stand the not knowing anything! They did the hard check on Friday when the paperwork was submitted, and my broker said they should have an update by early next week. I've read a few threads where it said brokers who get paid on receipt of offer don't usually submit anything they don't think stand a good chance, so hoping thi is true for me! Just so nervous!0

Hey there! We had our DIP on 27th Jan, offer accepted 28th Jan. We then had the valuation come back acceptable on 4 March - they asked for a LOT of proof of funds, proof of deposit, bank statements, payslips etc.
However, we've had our official mortgage acceptance through - and they've got the wrong loan amount and purchase price! We had offer accepted at £145k but our DIP was for £140k. However, our broker's documents are all correct at £145k.
Broker has said he's contacted them for an amendment but now we're really panicking - hoping this can get resolved today!1 -

Was it just the 3 months Bank statements / 3 Months bank statements of savings account / 2019/2020 P60's / x3 Month payslips / Direct debit - Application mandate / Employed declaration signed? Or did you have to provide anything further0 -
It's alright I'm happy to help!simk6 said:

They were quite stop/start with asking for stuff. We submitted everything, thought we'd get a decision then they asked for a couple more bits.
They needed 3 months bank statements for current account and savings account (and help to buy isa). Our 2020 P60, payslips, the direct debit and then they also needed statemtns from our business account and that from my parents as we have a part gifted deposit. We didn't need an employee declaration form!
