Aldermore DIP

Hi All - Newbie Here!

I have a DIP with Aldermore (adverse credit history) and am interested to hear from anyone who has applied through Aldermore recently to know how their process went after DIP stage - has anyone had a mortgage declined after DIP? My affordability was tight on the DIP and my bank statements are a bit ‘messy’ due to the Christmas period (Christmas shopping/money being transferred to me for a work Christmas party which was cancelled so I had to transfer it all back to individuals etc)
My full application went in on Friday🥵
thanks in advance, Beck.x

Hey! Just to let you know we just got our offer 🙌🙌 21 working days. It honestly went quite quick given we had been waiting 3-4 months for previous decision! Good luck with yours

Yes definitely do. I think because there was constant communication it didn’t feel like a massive amount of time. Good luck!

Hi are any of you in a DMP? If you don’t mind me asking. We have our house up for sale and Aldermore are the only ones who look
like we fit the criteria however some people have said on here they aren’t an adverse lender! And will credit score!

Yes we are. Have been for a few years. We did pay off a massive chunk of it last January though so I don’t know if that helped.

    Hiya
im not on a DMP but didn’t fit high street lenders as I have a ccj and several defaults, all cleared and all 4+ years old.
They definitely are an adverse lender and most companies will use their own internal credit scoring system I believe, but it’s not the same as your credit score with Experian for example 😊

No one yet, we haven’t sold yet. I’ve had 2 DiP in the past and they’ve been pointless becuase they’ve expired and been taken off the product lists, so me and by MA have decided to wait til we’ve sold this time. Still keeping my eye out on other lenders but we ideally want to only put 10% deposit down

Just in case this helps anyone. Aldermore do lend on adverse, they can just make it up as they go along sometimes. You may fit their criteria but they can and do sometimes still decline at DIP. If you get accepted at DIP you have a good chance of getting the Mortgage providing everything’s correct on the DIP and everything else fits.
