Hi everyone,
I have a Honor 7s mobile phone (Huawei) bought last April (2020), it was running really really slowly yesterday and then just froze. I held the power button down to enable me to turn it off. When I turned it back on I found that it was locked . I tried everything but all to no avail. I am locked out.
I would be really grateful for any help.
Thank you

How is the phone locked now you have managed to restart it?

You need to define locked? What massage are you getting? Even better post a screen pic of what you're seeing.

Do you have anything on there that you absolutely need to try and recover? If not then you could consider doing a factory reset and then set it up again.

Would I have to do this via the phone that is locked? I can't get into my phone at all:smileyheaMagenta0 -
The process involves turning off the phone (long press on power button) then pressing the power button and a volume button to restart the phone into a recovery menu. Apologies but the previous link didn't contain what I thought it did - here's a better link:

You want to choose the Wipe data/Factory reset option.Jenni x1 -
Are you sure that the phone itself is locked (Something that a factory reset will fix) and it's not the SIM card that is locked?
On my phone, (Samsung), when you turn the phone off and on again, I have to unlock the SIM before I even get to the phone unlock screen.
As Jon_01 mentioned, you need to post exactly what the screen is asking for.1 -
Had to sort a phone where a dodgy app put a locked screen on the phone. The phone was not locked it was justa screensaver that kicked in before the phone fully loaded. Safe mode and remove the dodgy app thats doingsomething similar or preventing the phone starting properly.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
