I did exactly this last week after my purchase completed on Wednesday. I had expressed my gratitude to my solicitor when I spoke to her on the phone but I really did want to say something somewhere as to how outstanding she had been and how I couldn't fault her all the way through. I left a Google review and used her name because I also wanted her bosses to see how highly I thought of her and the way she'd completed the whole process for me. I would've liked to send her flowers or something but I know she's working from home now and I wouldn't like to ask for her home address. I also didn't know if it would be difficult to send anything of monetary value because of anti-bribery regulations.

If you want to say thank you to the team rather than just the one individual then a box of treats would be best - biscuits and chocolates.

Some firms have strict rules about client gifts and it can be awkward giving to one individual. You could address the gift to them and say 'here's something to share with the team for all their hard work' etc.
