How embarrassing!

Yes, it really must be quite embarrassing to have our healthcare system wanting you to be fit and well!  
Carehome residents were done a fair bit ago in most areas so they're working down through the groups - the 'not so old' are now coming up for their jabs.

But, now the NHS has offered me a Covid vaccination. Why? What does their computer think about me? I thought that they were still working their way through care home residents and my turn wasn’t due for months?  

Well it seems you were wrong.  Is that why you think it's embarrassing? 

I certainly can't think of any other reason why the NHS offering you a vaccination should be embarrassing - surely the sooner we're all vaccinated the sooner we can get back to a more normal existence.

My area finished care home residents last week. They are now moving on to the housebound. Given that care homes and the housebound are being reached  a different process to the vaccinations in centres / hubs or MVA (mass vaccination centres), it is entirely possible that different areas will be far ahead of the average for one cohort but behind for another.
