My Pal, Oliver, has invested some cash @ 4.5%, with the Marshbell Group via Northern Provident.
He suggested that, on the basis of a year and a half of regular payments and efficient handling that I should invest with them, too.
Has anyone any knowledge or experience of this organisation, please?
Mark.

My 'regular investments' far exceed 4.5% and these are not individual shares, but index funds and satellites e.t.c."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Thank you.I have a small lump sum to invest and clearly worry about security.
I understand the need to do my own research but all I need is somewhere to put this cash which isn’t full of rogues!
All and any help is appreciated. Thanks.0 -

Priority should be having a sizeable emergency fund before investing"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Mark.I have no knowledge or experience of this company, but you should bear the following in mind:- These at not savings accounts, they are unregulated investments that put all of your capital at risk.
- The investments are mezzanine finance. Are you experienced in investing in mezzanine finance, and do you understand the risks associated with these investments.
- The assets are not liquid (I.e you cannot cash out early)
- There is no FSCS protection if things go awry.
- You will need to self-certify as a high net worth individual or a sophisticated investor to invest. Are you either of these?
- Just because your friend has received 18 months of payments, this does not mean that they will receive payments for the next 18 months.
