    Depends what type of PDF it is. If it was written in Word or similar and saved you should be able to copy it. If it is a scan of a physical document, then its an image and you will need OCR (optical character recognition) software, or a PDF reader that does this, to convert the image to text so you can copy it.

    I open PDF's with the new Edge browser and a simple Copy and paste works.
