Historically you couldnt register an overseas address through normal processes and had to go through the Aberdeen HMRC office and its NETP department... my assumption was that was still possibly still the case and given the recent registration may explain the address... it seemed very coincidental that it was the Aberdeen office they chose if its them being dishonestChino said:

I use that if checking a VAT number. Is there a better one? (This one doesn't tell you when the VAT number was first registered/created, just who it belongs to and the associated address).
Edit: this and the one in @Chino's post end up at the same checker.Jenni x0 -

I just dont know where to go next or what to do next to go about getting my money back .0 -
Since Brexit its the only official one; there are other websites that will estimate the age of registration based on the number. When checking companies where I know when they were VAT registered, eg my own, the estimates tend to be only a few months out.Jenni_D said:https://www.gov.uk/check-uk-vat-number

Sadly we are just "people on the internet" and you've had a few opinions, most of which are very sceptical about this website. I scanned your original email - did you say how you paid? I would say after a few days where the tracking number is still invalid, give them notice you're going to take steps to get a refund. Your route for a refund depends on how you paid.glittershell said:

They said it arrived 2 weeks after ordering despite the tracking number being invalid... their problem is that its just a poor quality product and not the life changing thing the other customer reviews had implied it was.robatwork said:
