    Indeed, depressing
I wish those useless and damaging net sites got shut down. OP all it would have taken for you to verify the claim was real, was to go to the real gov.uk website and sign in. You'd have seen it was real and could have avoided paying these parasites.

Alright lads - no need to bring a downer on the situation - you're ruining my Don Corleone buzz  :D

In all seriousness - it is a bit of a !!!!!! take, the conspiracy theorist in me thinks that the misinformation on these sites may be placed there by the !!!!!! parking firms! But, if I listened to everything from my inner conspiracy theorist - I'd be under my bed sucking my thumb :)

I suppose that the only upside is that you now know, and can make family ... friends ... acquaintances  .... a where of the scam
and that will stop the ppc scammers from getting any more £££

    Absolutely Ralph.

In a the biggest of coincidences, I found out today that a colleague at work has had the same Judgement for Claimant (in Default) letter as me (albeit for a different claimant and offence). His was dated 15th Jan and he was ignoring it entirely (he doesn't monitor his credit rating). Thanks to you guys, I was able to inform him of all the particulars so he will avoid the CCJ and bailiffs, but unfortunately the scammers will still get their money.
