Green Network Energy is ceasing to trade

Green Network Energy is ceasing to trade. Ofgem, the energy regulator, is appointing a new supplier for its customers. Customers need not worry, their supplies are secure and domestic credit balances are protected. Ofgem’s advice is not to switch, but to wait until they appoint a new supplier for you. This will help make sure that the process of handing customers over to a new supplier, and honouring credit balances, is as hassle free as possible for customers. Customers can find support and advice on the Ofgem website. Alternatively, If customers need additional support, they can call Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133 or email them via their webform. Advice will also be shared on Ofgem’s twitter @ofgem and facebook channels. |

Does anyone know how long the process normally takes from announcing that these are ceasing to trade to being over to the new provider ?
I'm wanting to move away ASAP but obviously now is not the time to do it.0 -

Just switch from SP who were provided when YE went bust and the jump in standing charge and units costs was around 50% for me, I have finally got away from SP was with them from when they were appointed 6th Dec 2020 till 26th Jan 2021 so two months of costly energy, some got away quicker but some who jumped the gun had their switches rejected and some are still waiting for SP to set up their accounts
Keep an eye on the Db from the gas and elec area I switched as soon as both mine were SP
Good Luck
