I’ve received a letter from DCBL debt recovery today regarding 2 private parking tickets dated 2017, they were originally from PCM. I live at the address they have given the tickets for. Can I ignore them or do I need to get in touch as I don’t want them coming round my house, can anyone help ??

Yep, read the NEWBIE sticky, you will find it amongst one of the five announcements on the front page of the forum just below where you clicked on New Thread button. Also look at a few other poster's thread as there is a lot about DCBL resurrecting old claims.
Does the letter give you 14 days to reply or 30 days?
Don't phone debt collectors, they are only interested in your money.1 -
Hi thanks for reply it gives me 14 days to reply with payment or payment arrangements, it also says this is not a high court or bailiff case, what does that mean ??0

It means that this is a claim from the County Court, a civil claim for an alleged breach of contract and no baillifs will call. Please read the stickies/newbies, most of your questions will be answered therein . Also, consider complaining to your MP.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Thank you, no I didn’t get a ccj for it, there are actually 2 parking tickets, given on the 1/6/2017 and 5/6/2017, I actually live at the address and was parked in my own residential parking spot, however my permit had fallen down onto the floor so was not visible. This is the reason why I never payed them in the first place as I live here and my car is registered at my address. Could you just clarify for me that I’m fine to ignore the letter0

Or is there something I should do about it ??
