@Jamesyb123 we have so much Lego its crazy. We've kept the boxes. That's our retirement fund right there. Although it is worrying how much we've spent on it. Thousands if I added it up. I won't because I'll cry.Total debt at peak 2021 = £38931

Sold £20.50 of bits yesterday so I will get that posted today. One thing on Facebay the other 2 on Fleabay. I will also be off to the fair share larder so that will be £5 spent. I saw a recipe in a book that I really wanted to try yesterday so I went out and bought the ingredients and spent £27.89 on some other meat for other recipes I want to try. I didn't need to spend any of that so I am a bit disappointed in myself but equally I love cooking and we all need a bit of what we love so maybe I shouldn't be so hard on myself and I did spend it on 'proper food' not rubbish food. Still, £27. Why is food so expensive?
I'm hoping to have sold another £5 by the end of the day. I went through DS books and managed to get rid of 52 of them. That was about 1/3 of them. He loves books and reads all the time so I don't mind really. Although I did order him a David Attenborough book on Amazon which was down to £1.99 and it goes with another that he bought himself a while ago. I think that is everything for today. Oh! Doy, I paid for my car insurance and home recovery so that was £293, a very sad way to spend almost £300 but a necessary one. Any debt repayments will have to wait until I get the money through from Ebay so no repayments today, sadly.Total debt at peak 2021 = £38931

Good news, Ebay 'found' the £113 they said they sent me last week and sent it today. I knew I was missing some somewhere so word of caution, be vigilant with this new managed payments system. That has reached my account today so that is going straight to Very. Also sold something for £25 so that can go towards the debt too.
I have just found £130 tucked away in a savings account which has come from selling things recently. I thought I was on top of it and now I am finding extra money! I have no idea how that has happened because I was being so diligent. Better to find money than lose it but I would still rather know why it is there. That is £130 on top of the £120 I have put aside in case SO needs it. I'm not going to use it towards debt just yet because it is making me nervous. What are you little pot of money? Why do you exist? The temptation is there to use it because then that is a £384 debt down to £116 but at the time of moving it I must of thought it was necessary to keep it. I'm too young to have reached the age where I no longer know why I am doing things. Anyway, even without using it I am still only left with £246 to pay.Total debt at peak 2021 = £38931
