Wow! I love reading your diary, it is so inspiring. I made a couple of sales today, only a tenner but not to be sniffed at. Really enjoying having the credit card app on my phone as I then pay the money off the card as soon as I've transferred it from paypal.3

I shall be following you also with great interest as I am in a similar situation to you and am also currently blitzing my house and selling stuff on that auction site. So far so good for me too! Each time I get a payment I have put it straight to a payment off my cc. I just cannot do the interest anymore. Enough is enough! So thankyou for the thread and hopefully we can all motivate each other when/if we slip back a bit!1

I like that the things I've sold have gone to people that want them, even if I didn't get a lot of money for them.

@remote_control I agree, its nice that things don't go to landfill.

Been following your diary the last few days you’re doing so well, it’s wonderful to see someone doing so well. Clearly a good salesperson too, being able to shift all those second hand bits and bobs. Will keep following this and see you reach your goal im sure :-)1

Sounds like you’re making real good progress!
i do have a question (you may or may not be able to answer it). PayPal is one of my creditors that voted in my IVA and thus such I have effectively been banned from conducting any business with them. Is there alternative ways to retrieve money from eBay from sellers without using PayPal?I haven’t used eBay for years but I do have a few bits I could sell in the future. If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

Thank you @Jamesyb123. I think its more to do with us having so much debt creating stuff lying around more than any real talent for selling. I have made a cool £7 tonight though! So.....bringing in the big bucks.Total debt at peak 2021 = £38931

Ebay switched me over to managed payments and they're switching everyone this year so buyers can still pay with PayPal but all money goes via Ebay and then to your bank account instead of through PayPal.MrFrugalFever said:Sounds like you’re making real good progress!
