What’s the cheapest sim when you don’t want to call or text, you just need to be able to receive?

I’m sick of texts related to a hobby but do need them so I’ve been considering an old phone. I only need to receive texts, I don’t need to send any. Does anyone know the cheapest sim?

I am considering £42 for this one.
If what they say on the deal 3 year deal, and terms could last longer.
Makes it a good very low user sim, might be pricy for incoming only.
No min top ups, so don't know how that compare to Asda.

A 3 data SIM. Free 200 MB a month, just need to use a bit of data every couple of months which keeps the SIM alive. Receives texts and calls no problem. Completely FOC, all you need to do is supply the phone. https://www.three.co.uk/Free_SIM_MBB/OrderMany PAYG contracts require you to use some of your allowance at least every 6 months or they will cut the SIM off so need to top up and spend on a text or call, with this one you just use some of the free data allowance visiting a web page or doing a speed test.

Forgot about the data reward 3 sim,
I have one that sat in a phone(not on) for a year and still works, it had a bit of credit.
Also min topup is £2 handy reserve.0 -
It's probably worth mentioning that a Three SIM will not work in a handset that has only 2G capability, in case that's what you're using. All other networks will.Evolution, not revolution0
