Changing Virgin to partner

Is there a way of changing my virgin media account to my partners name to make use of cheap prices for new customers?
Is there a way of doing it keeping the same box and hub?

They do know where you live, so that might not help

Could do but just found out that I will have to give them a months notice. I wonder how we can ensure that they coincide. Can't be without the internet as need it for work.

We did this last year, what you need to do is give 30 days notice

wait a few days for retentions to call back.

Or just sign up as a new customer as Mrs Jones etc, you will be offered an installation date.
just select this for a few days before your 30 day notice

ours worked out ok, although Virgin did ring up to query it
