You dont adapt the template more than it tells you to.
You absolutely can understand the template defence, but you may need to look up some terms.

This is not painting by numbers, you need to take this seriously, these companies ruin lives.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

I 1000% agree and an taking this very seriously, that is why I want to get this right to get the best chance to resolve this. Just struggling to find the correct template for defence. Thankful for everyone's help to this point, as I didn't know where to start.

How many template defences are there in the newbies?

Where is that first screenshot from?  A random thread?  It looks like a discussion from when the old template was being used.

I'll delete it if you can show me where I posted that 'ho, hum' post.

The template defence is in the sticky thread of that name, at the top of the forum.

Hi @Coupon-mad it was from the below thread....
Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking>>>>Suggested template defence to adapt for all parking charge cases where they add false admin costs >>>>
Page 1. Has the version that is directly copied and pasted in as I did with my second to last post
Page 3. 3 March 2020 at 7:38PM first screen shot. - I see what you mean. Sorry for confusion.
Page 5. 1 June 2020 at 3:41PM edited 1 June 2020 at 3:42PM - is where the Ho Hum comment is.

    Thanks for this heads up!

I've edited what I can to send newbies back to the first 2 posts of that thread (which I will update each time the template changes - as I did in 2020) and I've told new readers to stop reading the chat after that, which will always be out of date.

As above - you must only read the newbies thread. That thread is up to date.
