Back for a fresh start, had a little blip in spending which is common when I feel down and overwhelmed, I suppose there are worse ways of getting a dopamine hit than shopping so I'm accepting it and moving on. I'll have it paid off in two paydays.
I've had three sessions of acupuncture over the last three weeks as well as making a few new habits like greek yogurt and fruit smoothies for breakfast with collagen in them as well as trying where possible to eat less processed food and massively reducing my pepsi max intake. I don't know which bit is working but it's making a difference to the way I feel and I'm steadily continuing to lose weight not quickly but without trying and weighing and measuring everything.
I've finally had a message to say I'm near the top of the list for titration so should be trialling ADHD meds in the next 4 weeks. Have sent in my blood pressure readings and pulse rate. My BP is always on the low side so I'm hoping that is not going to effect anything.
All in all I'm feeling much more positively than I have in a long time.

Low BP shouldn’t affect them, it can raise it that’s why they monitor it. I have to send DS in every 3 monthsSealed pot challenge 822
Jan - £176.66 :j0 -
The wellbeing plan has really helped, I feel more like the old me again and have been spending less time on my phone than usual.
Still waiting to hear back about titration, I've emailed them now so hopefully they'll get back to me soon.

Looked at my signature compared to my save 12k in 2025 and realised I'd obviously forgotten to add my savings at least one month so have gone back and calculated each total since January and then added a nice annual interest amount of 160 added to savings totals as of today are now
3425 to savings
1650 to holiday pot
And 2066 to Lisa since Jan 1st.

This month I've sent 850 savings, 350 holidays, 333 Lisa making £1533 total. Always planned to increase the monthly amount in the later part of the year. On track to meet my target for the year.
I have spent 750 from the holiday budget for this year's break and i've changed the focus of that so Italy trip next year and then America the year after. This will mean I'm not as far away from my elderly parents until my brother and his wife are back in the UK. Italy would be a quicker and easier flight home in an emergency. This also gives me longer to save for the expensive trip.
My focus this year is putting as much in my isa as possible before any rule changes. I know any savings next financial year are likely to take me over the interest threshold if the ISA limit is reduced so I'll save hard this year and then next year get more of a balance with less saving and more disposable income.

This month the budget is ticking along nicely. 11 days until I finish school for summer.
I've finally started titration, yesterday was the first day I trialled my tablets and so far so good. Decision making was easier as was spending time doing focused tasks with people. It was a really busy day in work with training after and when I got home I was able to spend the full evening with my husband and the boys instead of crashing and burning and laying on the bed all night.
I hadn't realised quite how much my ADHD was impacting my day to day life. I felt I was like me on a good day like I am at the beginning of a school year before I get worn out. I'm hoping this will continue and that side effects will be minimal. I've made a list of pros and cons so that I can fill in my monitoring for easily.
Although I can drink alcohol with them it's better not to so while the medication is new toe I won't be which will be money saving this weekend and next as I have a black tie event this Saturday and an end of term night out next Friday. Although I enjoyed a cocktail or fruit cider I have been take it or leave it for a while now. It won't change the enjoyment of night and I'll still spend the night dancing all night anyway. Any extra money at the end of the month will either go in savings or will go towards new uniform items for the kids.
Slightly less busy day today so I'm going to see how different my afternoon is when I can work at whatever I need to without appointments.
