4 days until payday and £40 still in my bank with no bills left to go out, a full tank of petrol and the weekly food shop done. If I can keep it in my purse I'll add it to my spends for Christmas nights out. I plan to drive for one and hopefully hubby will drop me off at the other.

Still on track to be debt free by the end of the year and then my diary will become a saving log as that's the best way I can see to stay debt free. Hopefully 15 years until retirement if things go to plan.

Payday has been and gone, sent money over to debt so I now owe a grand total of £635 which will be paid off with December's pay, I'll do this before Christmas but that will be the only part of my pay I touch until the new year.

Back pay for my incremental rise and our overall pay rise has been paid and it's more than I was expecting. This will pay for the last of the gifts I need as well as my Christmas nights out and I've moved some in to my savings too. Healthy budget for the month which is handy with Christmas in the mix. The turkey 🦃 is in the freezer and I'll add a few bits to the shopping each week. I also have around £25 in my Asda Christmas pot and some clubcard vouchers too so all looking really positive.

Just checking in as we are half way through the month and payday is early on Friday this week. I'll put it away until the 30th which is my usual payday but will take my debt repayment from it as then I'll be debt free by Christmas.

The month is going well and I'm managing to stay within budget for everything which is amazing. On track to make it to the end of the month with a few pounds left in the bank.

5 days until we all break up for Christmas and it can't come too soon, this term has been exhausting from all angles. I'm so looking forward to 2 weeks off.

Thanks both, the next goal is to save for early retirement, short term savings of £7000 which I'm aiming to save for by the end of 2025.
