can not get channel 81.

HI. just wondering if there are any tv installation specialists here. I got a samsung smart tv. and it works really fine, apart from it not being able to pick up channel 81 (talking pictures tv). retuned it several times now, and now I've given up trying. we receive signal here from crystal palace if that helps. any suggestions welcome. thanks.

I assume you cannot also get 25,32,37,39,42,67 etc ?  Have you tried manually tuning into channel 28 ?  Crystal Palace transmits this channel at a slight - offset so your TV may be too picky to tune it correctly automatically, a fairly common problem. You may also have to tune the actual frequency of 529.8 MHz instead of the standard 530 MHz.  Any problems with the HD channels as that mux is offset as well ?

its a outdoor ariel. high gain! about 2 yrs old.

yes I can get all of those. going to try and find it manually.

Strange that you can get all of those other programmes as they are all on the same "channel" (mux) so it should be all or none so a manual tune may not fix it.
