Changing Broadband providers when you have CCTV

I have switched broadband twice in the last 2 years & both times have lost wi-fi to the CCTV on my iPhone & iPad. Both times I have had to have CCTV engineers to re-connect & they tell me that I am unable to do it myself. This means that the cost of the engineer has to be weighed up against the proposed saving of switching to see if it is worth it. Can anyone help?. .

You also need to set up Port Forwarding on the router so you need to understand how to configure the router.
Depending on which provider you choose you may be able to use the existing router by just changing the ISP login and password which would avoid any faffing around. It's usually difficult with SKY as they wont give you the log-in infoNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -

How much are you paying for these "engineers"? It will almost certainly be a case of changing about three settings (port forwarding, wifi, maybe IP address on the camera box) and maybe reconnecting the devices. 15 minutes tops. It's not a CCTV "issue", it's an IT issue. A local computer shop should be able to do it probably at a cheaper rate than these engineers of which you speak.
