My Dad used to put all his small change ,
Threepenny bits and under in a sock and every Christmas Day my sister and I got it all. It was treasure! Perhaps you could try something similar,maybe for a charity0 -
I use the terramundi pots I took £968 in £2 coins to Barclays without a problem. It was harder to acquire enough money bags.
My second pot is taking much longer having used very little cash in the last year.
I also have a 3ltr Brandy bottle filled with 20p, again it's taking ages, only really have the neck to fill but I think last count was over £400, I need to start stockpiling money bags so I'm more prepared when paying in.

I’d do that in stages. The last time I overloaded the machine it had a hissy fit, spat all my money out and shut down. I had to scoop it back into my bag and take it home again. Counter wouldn’t accept it as it wasn’t bagged up. So much for a helpful bank.Elmer_BeFuddled said:
