Fonehouse Voda SIM only deal, anyone used them?

Options
I really need to switch from Three to Vodaphone (Vodaphone has great signal at all my work locations).

Found a great deal through Hotdealsuk, I have 2 questions though.

1. Has anyone used them before?

2. Small print on Fonehouse says 'Please note - We can only accept a PAC / STAC if you are changing network. We cannot accept a PAC / STAC if you wish to remain on the same network.' In 12 months when my contract is up, will I have to lose my number? All these deals are new customers only, if it's the same in 12 months would I then have to contact Vodaphone directly and go onto a tariff with them that way?

I've used them before and also for my current Vodafone SIM. Had no issues.
The PAC thing just mean you can't PAC from Vodafone to Vodafone.  If you are on Vodafone and take out a new contract with a new number, you need to PAC out your old number to another network and PAC back to Vodafone if you wanted to keep your number.
When your minimum term expires, it just goes to a rolling 30 day contract, you keep paying the same unless you upgrade with Vodafone to a new deal.

I bought off Fonehouse a few months ago and had no problems. I took the option of just getting the new contract up and running with whatever number came with the sim and then getting the pac and doing the switch myself the next day. You don't have to use Fonehouse to initiate the switch. Note - I switched from EE to Three so no problem in my situation.

Re your Vodafone comment there are other mvno providers who piggyback off the Vodafone network that you can use. Lebara springs to mind but also VOXI and Talkmobile so check out their deals as well. You can use your pac with those.
