Hi all and thank in advance for any advice.
W'ere moving flats in the same building, Should be straight forward to move broadband and telephone line they said. 2 weeks pass and they call and say they cant find the other flat.
To cut a long story short turns out we're on copper supply and the other flat is fibre and they cant transfer the service. No adequate reason given.
We'll have to cancel and theres going to be fees. We've 2 years left on the contract so I've worked out its probably around £750. So theyre cancelling the contract, cant transfer the service and want to charge us for the privilige.
After getting of the phone today with them I see the site states they have a fibre service. I will call them back in the morning. Any advice on how to approach the discussion with them or where we stand legally?
Many Thanks

Thanks for the advice. I've had a look. Theres nothing referring to them being unable to supply a service when moving.0

Its going to depend upon the terms of your business contract .Usual is your contract and service is valid at one address only . If you move to a place that does not have the required service that's not the ISPs fault .You are cancelling your contract and owe the balance .But one confusion is do they not sell a fibre service or do you mean its FTTP fibre to the premises .0

I don't know the difference. They do sell a fibre service. They didn't give an adequate reason why they couldn't transfer only that they couldn't.0

They do not have to transfer as your contract is only for one address .You move then its you that ends the contract .
