Is changing energy providers on Cheap Energy Club easy?

Ive just registered with Green. They say I dont even need to contact Igloo as theyll handle everything.
I presume Igloo will use my initial DD amount to settle my outstanding balance with them (about £200), so perhaps they wont want to wait 8 weeks before issuing the refund, because theyll want the balance settled asap!

Just thought Id give you a quick update regards signing up with Green. Nearly 2 weeks ago I signed-up and got a confirmation email saying that Id get an official Welcome email within a few days.Gerry1 said:Don't forget to come back and let us know how you got on. It's disappointing how many posters don't bother, which means that forumites never find out whether their advice was useful.
Nearly 2 weeks later and so far no 'official Welcome email', or confirmation of the package I signed-up to, and my emails to their Support have gone unanswered.
So, for now, its nil pois to https://green.energy/ . I dont know if theyre liaising with my existing supplier, migrating the account, handling my subscription or anything.

Check your spam folder. You should also have received a 'Sorry you're leaving us - are you sure?' communication from Igloo. You're still within the 14-day cooling off period if you want to change your mind, just tell Igloo to block the switch. You can also check who is supplying you via Find My Electricity Supplier (scroll down to the first FAQ).0

Ive been on the phone to a very helpful lady from Green. They had an IT issue which prevented the Welcome email from being sent. They have now re-issued it together with confirmation of what plan Im on.Gerry1 said:Check your spam folder. So I take back what I said! Green has restored my faith in them!
