Now cross eyed and brain fuddled with mobile specs, help sought please! I'm looking to buy an Android (not Huawei) with AI, telephoto lens as I take a lot of wildlife photos with zoom, preferably 6.4" screen or less (pocketsize!), with min 4k battery and 64GB, for under £250 - am I asking too much?? lol
. Any advice, much appreciated!

Not an answer but have you considered a compact camera? Loads about for not a lot, for example

Many thanks, Farway, but wanted just a phone to save carrying both a phone and a camera, but thanks for your suggestion. Cheers!Rescued by MSE! Profile name out of date as, thankfully, with lots of help from this site, have cleared my debts! Many thanks to MSE and good luck to all !!:dance:0

Pocket sized 6.4 inch screen? I hope you have big pockets.
The Samsung M31 does look stonking value though... even it does weigh a ton.1 -
Depends on the budget, the S20 or S21, or if you want more control, Sony Xperia 5 II these are expensive, but I think it does all you need. Cheaper go for the Pixel 4a, Google's AI does wonders when zooming, even without a telephoto lens.1
