@superbigal Your meter reading is 477. Or is it? If by chance you have a two rate meter, for Economy 7 tariff for example, then further presses of the button might bring up a kwh reading for Rate 1, and another kwh reading for Rate 2. Adding those together would result in the number 477, but you would have to provide the supplier with the two individual readings. And you would need to know which Rate applies to the day time and which one to the night time. Just another trap for the unwary!0
