HSBC - do they give pre approval indication?

I can’t see anything on my app indicating anything about an alternative 

When you go into the app, click on "More" then "Credit Cards" does it just load the "Discover credit cards" page? 

Should it not show a discover page then? Can you please elaborate as mine used to show that page I think. Is that not normal? 

I've had a look on my app and via the site.

The checkers been completely removed. It's not even on the google search results now.

Guessing yours shows the discover credit cards page too then?

Yea same. Although my new 1st direct wasn't like this. Pretty much went straight through after 2 clicks. Then I just picked the pre-set limit using a slider (it was set at £13,000 so I just left it). Card showed in the app next login ten mins later. 

Must be pre-approved as no hard search was done. A soft affordability was mind you (maybe for the limit part?).
