Anyone upgraded to LED bulbs?

I'm looking at replacing my stock halogen bulbs in my car. Takes W4 bulbs and I'll need to sort the main and dipped headlights. LED's would be nice, any recommendations or guidance? I'm looking on eBay but that place can be like the wild west.

LEDs or HIDs in a halogen headlamp are now an explicit fail.

"Existing halogen headlamp units should not be converted to be used with high intensity discharge (HID) or light emitting diode (LED) bulbs. If such a conversion has been done, you must fail the headlamp.(c) Light source and lamp not compatible - Major" 2 -

As as long as your car complies with 4.1.4 you'll be fine.0 -
i think you mean h4 w4 are only 10 watt

You simply do the usual trick at mot time and swap the bulbs back to halogen in order to pass the test
I've looked at led for mine but because they are much longer than halogen , I would have to leave the waterproof cover off and I would probably have to extend the wiring to fit them anyway
So I just stick to night breakers0 -

I suspect I have LEDs as my dipped beam due to the colouring of them. I haven't removed them yet to see what they are - they were in the car when I bought it. Had an MOT in September and passed without any advisories.0
