And maybe add:-  (Failure to respond:  If CP Plus Ltd fails to respond in writing within the prescribed time limit of seven days, the grievance shall be deemed settled in favor of the appellant.)
Which book of law have you been reading then (an American one judging by your spelling!)?

    Here's their response - 😂😆🥱
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • Thank you 'Coupon-Mad'.
After contacting 'Roadchef' by email they were indeed very helpful.  Eventually, after a series of emails, quite a few, but all polite and very positive, I decided to make a payment of £12 (original parking fee) as a gesture of good-will, which they accepted and also which I am very happy with.    I was even supplied with all their in-house emails, for proof of proceedings.
I would like to thank all forum representatives who responded to my cry for help,  your assistance has been greatly appreciated.  .
    Again, many thanks to all.

    Brilliant news!

As people have struggled to get hold of Roadchef and achieve this, can you tell us which email you started with, that they first replied on?

  • No problem, this is the address I used  -   'contact@roadchef.com' and to which they answered me on.
    Regards

  • I would like to add that I also sent my complaint to contact@roadchef.com (after calling on 01453 272540) and they agreed to instruct CP Plus to cancel the PCN, which has been done. This was already the subject of a county court claim so it is never too late to complain to the landowner.
I also found a Roadchef food/drink receipt from the day of the crime in 2016, which I emailed to them so not sure if this helped the case or not!

Make sure you all get Notices of Discontinuance as all these CP Plus ones bite the dust!
