Company Car Eurocar parks fine

Hi there, I have received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus acting on behalf of euro car parks.
I have ignored two letters from euro car parks about paying a parking fine for parking in one of the car parks for 12 minutes as I was under the impression these are unenforceable.
The letters have been sent and addressed to the company as it is a lease car in the business's name. My boss of course isn't too pleased with me and wants me to pay it as is concerned a ccj could be placed against the company for the unpaid fine.
I have read some advice on here but couldn't find my particular situation, can I appeal this? Have I left it too late? Should I just pay?
Thanks for replies in advance.

Well, that was silly! If you read the NEWBIE sticky you will find that you do not have a particular situation, they are all the same. What you must do is inform your fleet manager (or boss or whoever is dealing) that they must use the tear off slip in the PCN to transfer liability to YOU as the hirer/lessee (NOT driver) and that way you will get a Notice to Hirer in your name at your address. Inform them they must NOT pay it. There will be no CCJ coming their way. CCJs are given out by judges and you have been nowhere near a court yet.derobe said:Hi there, I have received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus acting on behalf of euro car parks.

Then you will see when you receive the NTH that there is a section in the NEWBIE written by Edna Basher specifically for this situation Use one of of the two appeals you will find there, the one that best suits your situation.3 -
As Mr K says, the newbies will enlighten you. Consider complaining to your MP.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2

I don't have the original PCN is there another way to transfer the liability to me? Shall I ring Debt Recovery Plus to do this?

Tell the keeper to write a short letter to ECP giving the name and address of the lessee , give them the reference on the letter , attach a copy of that letter too , tell them this discharges the POFA liability of the Keeper
There have been a few templates for this on here recently , find one and use it
The keeper can email a SAR to ECP to obtain all their data2 -
Wow, when you use a company car your must NEVER ignore any kind of PCN! Who on earth did you think the follow up letters would go to? No need to answer but quite obviously the answer is the registered keeper as held by the DVLA, because the DVLA hands over keeper data like sweeties to PPCs.
All you need is for the company to provide your name and address as the day to day keeper/hirer of this fleet car and they are oiff the hook, which is what your boss needs to do. It's basic stuff for any company operating a fleet of cars and they must never just tell you to pay. Once the liability is transferred, expect to receive a PCN in the post or a letter and then at least it is in your hands
Who the heck told you these scam PCNs are unenforceable and can be ignored? Jeez that is a view from about 8 - 10 years ago!
BTW we are not telling you to pay the scam. You need to read the NEWBIES thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

OK I've read the particular threads relating to company cars but still a bit confused about what to do..
Does my boss just need to ring Debt recovery plus or Euro car parks and say that the company is not the day to day keeper.. or do we need to do this through Leaseplan where the vehicle is hired from?
Currently it's looking like I'm paying this and my boss is understandably nervous about further action against the company. But to me and from reading the newbie forums it really seems like I need not to. Difficult to stomach paying the £155 they are asking for for a 12 minute overstay!0
