You also missed a very important key point.
1% interest rate is up to £12k, anything more than that will only earn 0.05%
From 16.3.21, I will withdraw any excess outThe first £12,000 of your balance will earn the variable interest rate of 1.00% Tax Free/AER. Any balance over £12,000 willearn the interest rate of 0.05% Tax Free/AER.0 -
The rate table for this account shows the account already had £12k max for interest payments if the account was opened since 14/10/20. @what7 and @P3 when did your accounts get opened?(Current rates as per https://www.halifax.co.uk/assets/pdf/savings/pdf/interest-rates.pdf )

I had it since day 1, I was referring to the letter I received. Didn't know there was different date for different people.
Even more reason to remove excess of 12k1
