Never heard of Golman Sachs.0

Genuine investment companies do not contact you about investment opportunities so that suggests it's a scam as well as the name playing on the well known investment bankShirley_Brook said:Hi, Golmam Sachs have contacted me about these income bonds. Invest your savings with a well known reputable company after doing suitable research.Shirley_Brook said:Hi, Golmam Sachs have contacted me about these income bonds. I do have some savings to invest but wondered if anyone has experience of this company and or the bonds. TIA
Not with someone who contacts you out of the blue or if you responded to an ad on Facebook or similar.

If they contact you it's a scam - even if they clone the name of an established company,

Although there is a genuine investment product with this name it's not UK based and is almost certainly nothing to do with the person who contacted the OP

Clearly a scam. Goldman Sachs to not sell retail products direct to consumers in the UK and certainly do not do cold calls on investments. This will be clone scam. One where the scammer pretends to be from a genuine company. The scammer will often use a genuine product or financial instrument to talk about but your money won't go to that. In some cases, we have seen doctored documents. i.e. where the pdf of the genuine product has been altered.
When you fall for the scam, you send them the money but it doesnt buy into that investment. The scammer issues fake paperwork and runs off with the money.
UK regulated companies NEVER cold call on investments. You should never act on any form of cold calling in any area as they are frequently scams.

Phone numbers leak. I regularly get scam calls for car accidents I haven’t had etc. Possibly unscrupulous companies sell on phone lists, or it could just be random calls to phone book numbers. Nationwide cancelled my debit card after someone tried making a purchase in America with my details, goodness knows how they got them, dishonesty somewhere.AnotherJoe said:Shirley_Brook said:Hi, Golmam Sachs have contacted me about these income bonds.
