Can't load Word or Excel

All of a sudden I can't load any word or Excel documents via File Explorer, nor can I open the programs themselves. All I get is this alert. Any ideas?

That alert is after running link on the task bar. If you try and run word or excel from from search box, then click on the app, what error do you get?
Or goto Control Panel -> Uninstall Programs, find Office -> Change -> RepairIf you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.0 -

I can only get on an online version now but can't see how to open documents on my hard drive, only via the cloud!Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0

Isn't that how Word Online works? Have you bought and installed Word/Excel/Office or have you always used the online version?Are you using a computer (Apple or windows based) or a tablet (Android, apple or other)?0

Bought a few years ago and on a PC.
