Is anyone else having problems with 3 Mobile Broadband running very slow?

Does anyone have any ideas to speed things up?

If you have just recently bought 3mobile broadband start a web chat with them.

Enter your postcode and if it is showing problems complain to 3. They may give you reduced subscription.
In the past CS told me to go into the router config and switch to 3g instead of 4g to see if that helps it didnt help for me

otherwise general advice is to make sure that the router is placed near a window, nothing that could interfere with the signal

When I've had this in the past I've phoned customer services and been told that there's work being done on the local mast, so it's a bit slow because it's connecting to a more distant one and will be OK in a few days. Generally it is, though I do wish they'd provide advance warning if they're going to do this stuff. I'm never sure there actually is any work, it seems to be just a stock answer.
