unwanted amazon gifts/items

Options
Hi, i get about 2 random unwanted items from amazon every month nothing really worth anymore than £30. This has been happening for 9 months now and i have contacted amazon to report this 8 times each time im told this will never happen again... but it keeps happening.
Amazon have told me to keep or discard the items, i asked how and why i keep getting things that i dont order. amazon said someone might be gifting me things, i told them i want it stopped.
Amazon said they cant stop someone from gifting me things and they cant tell me who is gifting me things because it breaks data protection.
What if the items im sent become rude or twisted ? i told amazon this is like stalking when im sent things i dont ask for.
Most people may like free items so far ive been sent 2 rolling pins, wireless mouse, wiresless headset, iphone 7 cover, gold plated neckless, batteries, cloths, christmas jumper, toothpaste etc it all just keeps coming with my name on the parcel and my house addy.
Inside every package there is never any invoices to show where any of this comes from.
Im sick and tired of getting items i dont order, amazon keep fobbing me off, telling me it wont happen again but its still happening 9 months on. Im never sent anything of value its all cheap crap. Theres lots of scams these days so i like to be safe and report this, not sure what to do now as amazon will not do anything about it and i feel its like internet stalking.

There's nothing they can do to stop people sending you things.

If the items become 'rude or twisted', you may have more luck in selling them on.

You're getting a few useful items, so just dump the rest, regift it or hand it to a charity shop.

If you feel it crosses the line to stalking you need to report it to the police, who can then request Amazon tell them who is doing this and then the police can pay them a visit.

Amazon are doing what someone has asked them to do. Im not sure you can stop someone from doing that. Do you have any suspicions who it is, if they know your name?

As above, it's not Amazon's fault if someone is ordering these items and sending them to you.
  • ofc they know my name as the parcels are addressed to me

Sounds like a prankster or a stalker, then.

That wasnt the question. I said do you have any idea who it might be, as it must be someone who knows you and knows YOU live where you do. I could send parcels to whatever address I want but I wouldnt know the name of the people who live there.

Is it possible you are the target of a "brushing" scam? A 3rd party seller on Amazon ordering goods on your behalf, from themselves, and then leaving themselves positive feedback for the transaction/item? Lots of people were receiving packets of seeds from China, along with sunglasses and other cheap low-weight items, all unsolicited -- this is thought to be the reason.
