You can get apps which will screen calls to your mobile. Some of them sync to an online database so that each number gets a "community" good/bad rating.
I use one on my phone, Hiya. It works pretty well and usually highlights most of the spam calls when they ring, it is also fairly reliable at identifying legitimate companies incoming calls and puts a name to outgoing calls when dialled as well.
  • Had a text today from supposedly BT asking for a survey about how they did in our recent conversation with them, that was to my husbands mobile, he deleted it immediately.
Then I had a landline call, never looked at the number before answering it, noisy office in background, said he was from BT and there were others using our wi-if, told him there was no chance of that as we were very secure, don’t hink he knew that word, then told me there r were 15 others using it! Told him I didn’t believe him and hung up. Checked the number  0788810185 and apparently it was from South Africa. Sent it to BT scam dpt.
  • Forgot to mention, the last 3 numbers were the last 3  no’s of husbands mob.

My phone seems to do that anyway - presumably it's an inbuilt Samsung app that came with it.
I need to think of something new here...
