TravellingAbuela said:GERS I think Sparkle could actually be psychic! I leave the carrier out for a couple of days prior to her appointment and she happily goes in and out of it and even has a nap in there but seems to sense when she is going to be locked in it and runs amok with claws sharpened in readiness. . Once in the car, however, she happily curls up and sleeps on the little journey. And once at the vet she is happy to let him handle and examine her without a fight. It'll be me needing the tranquiliser before her next appointment! One of our dogs sensed when she was going to the vet and we had a job getting her in the car and then she had to be dragged and pushed into the surgery.
😂 Got to love cats! Mine only did the starfish act when DM tried to put her in the washing up bowl after she (the cat) got covered in soot. We ended up with sooty pawprints up the kitchen curtain and the cat perched on the pelmet for three hours. So much joy in a cat.

I've been out and done some essential shopping. We are anticipating more restrictions being announced shortly so there was more traffic than usual, however the shops I went to were fairly quiet. I do like going early. Even Costco was quiet but they didn't have the one item I went there for, think it may have been deleted.NELSKI - what a disgrace, expecting a 90 year old to wait without a seat, I saw the scenes from the ExCel centre the other day and thought that was bad enough. It's a long way up to get inside there. Good for the GP for making better arrangements. My DM is on the housebound list so someone will come here to do it.RUBY - to be expected! Let's hope he's picked up soon.Time for coffee I think.11

Afternoon everyone
Just been catching up as I didn't get on yesterday. DD was back in hospital again on Monday night - she was discharged after having a catheter put in and is waiting for an emergency appointment at another hospital. She is worried sick so I'm hoping she's not going to wait too long.
Monnagran - pleased to hear you've had your vaccination. My mam has an appointment for hers on Friday morning. Dad will have to wait a couple of weeks as a district nurse will do his at home.
Little one was here with me last night - we met my mam this morning and went for a walk together which was really nice. Little one was running around like crazy - so happy because she had her wellies on. She wasn't impressed when she had to go back in her pushchair though and was shouting 'go see grandad' - hopefully it won't be too long till she can go back in their house.
I think she's going back home later. Luckily DD has had a friend living with her for a while now, so she can help her. I expect I'll get her back at some point tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a good day
