Do not forget to send the letter by Special Delivery. In this case standard recorded delivery is not enough should you have to go to court and SD shows the company that you are serious.
I was in an almost identical position about 18 months ago and sent such a letter. I am still waiting for a reply.0 -
The legal position of DCBL is known as "third party interloper"
You have no debt or contract with them and this is the best poistion to stick to.
No Contract.
No deed of assignment.
Cease and decease or pay an admin Charge of £19 per hour for replying to any correspondence they send you after you have warned them to cease and desist
Be happy...;)0 -
Jenni_D said:The point was more about not poking the sleeping lion - i.e. not showing them that they had a weak position. So I've no problems with the post. But then again that was discussed and clarified 2 days before Jumblebumble posted, so the post was already irrelevant.
Not sure who you're talking about here but seeing as you are clearly not keeping up with events , here we go, there's no point sending a sar to a company when it has already been clarified they have no evidence, you would be wasting your time.
Fyi sending a sar to a company who you might owe money to IS like poking a sleeping lion with a stick
Nice of you to contradict yourself though 😉0 -
I'm sorry if my post was confusing ... I was agreeing with you, and stating that this very point had already been discussed and clarified 2 days before JumbleBumble's post, thus any further posts on that point were - well - pointless.Jenni x0

Seems a bit cheap, I normally charge £250/hour for this kind of work. My personal time is valuable.0
