The technology and parts they use in todays electronics is crap basically so its going to fall apart after a few months if not few years if you are lucky.
Small stuff like microwaves, toasters if they are £40-60 look at them as disposable but the biguns like washing machines, fridges which are typically £200-300+ you want max warranty cover or separate insurance cover with them.
You can also consider D&G they sometimes offer insurances and repairs on goods too.1 -
Actually finished up getting £350 credit, my £179 engineer fee and £30 collection of old fridge back. New fridge/freezer on its way, less spent on this one and better rated so not worth paying extra cover IMO0
