I used to live close to Alton towers but went too much as a kid and now I hate rides 😂 enjoy yourself. Love the packed lunch idea, what a week for it!

Keep going with your debts - it’s motivating me too :)

    Thanks all!

I just started a plum account so anything I spend for instance £4.99 it will round up to £5 and save the 1p into a savings account with them. I'm going to trial it and see how I get on and at the end of every month I'll pay whatever I've saved into a debt.

For alton towers I'm thinking of taking chicken salad wraps, that way if they do get warm it won't matter too much.

I think this sun is motivated me alot more this week also!

Tonight I have some free time so I'm going to:

sit down and go through my CC statements as they all get sent around this time

put a few items onto ebay as they're just sitting in the spare room. Done

    Water strawbs done

Put away all clean washing (currently dumped in the spare room)

    Make tomorrow's work lunch

    Okay so as follows:

    Marbles £70 paying on payday

Fluid £301.72 (agreement of £28.95) I pay £30 to round up.

    Aqua £509.84 (agreement at £16.52) I've been paying £20

    Vanquis £599.63 (agreed £50) I pay £50.

My plan is to pay my extra £30 from marbles debt once cleared towards Fluid making my monthly payment £60 instead of £30 that I pay them. Meaning I should have paid fluid in full by November, but I'm going to aim to push myself to throw any spare money from surveys etc at that to get it paid ASAP!

I feel more in control than I ever have done, thanks to you guys who follow read or comment along. It means the world and I honestly wouldn't be digging myself out now if it wasn't for this forum. I would probably be suffering in silence.

That will be great to get that Marbles debt gone  and you can then target Fluid. November is not that far away.  I know the cards are not charging interest but what about those loans?  The rates on those were very high as I recall or have they also agreed to stop the interest?

Keep going.  I know it is a slog but the debt did not build up overnight and it takes time to clear it.

it will be such a good boost for you to see that Marbles debt gone. It might give you that little motivation too, I know it doesn't always feel like it to you but you are doing amazing. You are making progress and that is all that can be asked, keep going :)

Yes interest is also stopped on those, so all set on payment plans also. Agreed. Thank you for support

That is a natural feeling, sometimes you have to take a step back and see that you are implementing things to improve your future finances. Short term pain for long term gain, I know it isn't always as simple as that. At the start of my journey I put so much stress on myself to micro-manage everything it just wasn't sustainable and eventually I found a balance. It is great when you see each debt disappear, I used to be happy when I could pay my previous debt payment from a debt i got rid of to another debt....sad I know haha.

That's great news that one more debt will be gone. It's a nice feeling when a debt is gone and you can put that payment towards another debt.
