Morning folks
Feels like a massive to-do list today, but it's all of my own doing! The day will shape up like this:Working on these CVs - done
Wipe down all the kitchen appliances - OH has done this randomly of his own accord. He also made a lasagne and divided up the ham joint!
Make a meal plan and amend tomorrow's click and collect accordingly - done
Send OH to to Screwfix to pick up guttering pieces - done
Try to get an early night. I went up late again last night but couldn't sleep for a while - brain thinking about too many things to do - done
Continue on blanket squares. My deal with myself is that for every pair I make, I get a day to my own knitting/crochet projects. That way, I can make some progress on both. - done
Right, these CVs aren't going to format themselves!
Have a good day all

Clf just spotted the word lasagne. DS 1 made shepherds pie last night, that was great and now I crave lasagne. What happened to salads!
Will do a hiit before doing my job, teaching from my bedroom, and later when I am done with work I will go downstairs to the bar and maybe have a late afternoon G&T! If the bar is open - I will just have to wait and see.

Morning guys - just caught up in the 10 mins spare I have before getting ready and starting home schooling. It continues to be very arduous and madam needs a lot of support and encouragement both to grasp the concept and then to stay on task. I've heard it on the rumour mill this is likely to go at least until April
I went to bed at 8.30 and was asleep at 10 so feeling a little less exhausted this morning.
I've made her pancakes for breakfast as a little treat. We'll have lo jackets for lunch and fajitas for tea. Madam continues to persist with her vegetarian dream, just plugging away her the fact she needs to increase her range of vegetables she will eat if that's the case. She ate a tomato yesterday! (after deciding years ago she doesn't like them)
I'd like to say I will:
* TOMM
* some sewing
* some exercise
* stick to diet - am doing well with this so think this will be easy enough
But we'll have to see how the day pans out. Ok that's my time up better get ready

Morning folks
I managed to get to sleep a bit earlier last night although was woken up by the heating clicking at 5am (OH forgot to turn it off when he came to bed). Took me a while to fall back to sleep and then woke up at 8.20! Need to push my waking up back to 6.30am/7am. Must set alarms over the next few days.
Today was looking like a lovely open ended allotmenty type of day but has suddenly become what OH would call "kick and rush". Had to join the morning work call at 9, then discovered some work I need to do today. Then I have a meeting at 11 (and OH needs to pick up the shopping). Then allotment to install drain pipe on shed and transport relevant things to the shed. Gotta be back by about 2 as apparently the plumber will be coming round at some point. Possibly between 2 and 4 (grrr to not being able to pin him down). At some point I aslo need to finish cleaning the kitchen and tidy round a bit.
Right, calm. Must do some work.
Have a good one all

1kg mince
500g orange lentils (rinsed)
3/4 med/large onions
5 clove garlic (or to taste)
3 cartons passata
Tube of tomato puree
3 beef oxo cubes
Bit of oil for frying (about 20g)
Herbs, salt, pepper to taste
Fry the onions until soft then add the mince and brown. Add everything else and cook until the lentils pretty much cook into the sauce (or leave them with a bite if preferred). This makes 20 portions at about 250 cals per portion.
To turn it into a lasagne, we use 4 portions of the bolognase sauce, a home made white sauce made with:
40g plain flour
30g butter
200ml milk
about 200-300ml water
120g extra mature cheese (30% fat reduced)
You melt the butter and stir in the flour. Cook it for a min or two, stirring. Then add the milk a tiny bit by bit, stirring all the time to avoid lumps. Gradually add water until the sauce is loose enough to pour, but thick enough to need to spread it. Add the cheese and stir until it melts in.
Layer upbol sauce, pasta, white sauce. Finishing with white sauce on top. Just use how every many lasagne sheets it takes (usually 2/3 of a box for us)
Cook for approx 40 mins at 180 deg in a fan oven (or gas mark 7?)
This makes a lasagne that is about 550-600 cals per portion
I also turn 2 portions of spag bol into 4 portions of chilli by adding
2 cups of cooked black beans (or you could use a tin of kidney beans)
200g of frozen peppers
200g frozen sweetcorn
spices inc: paprika, smoked paprika, worcestershire sauce, cocoa powder, cumin and chilliLBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.312
