Have filled in the last week of my spending diary for March and will tot up the separate categories later. Will make for dire reading I think!
Had slipped in to a few bad habits the last few weeks. Just over spending in general, lots of takeaway coffees and even some left overs went to waste which never happens in this house.April will be better!!No spends planned today. In fact should come out better off as planning on returning a couple of unsuitable bits of clothes. Let’s see...0 -
Well after my declaration that April would be a good month I have been completely missing in action.Have totally abandoned my spending diary, there have been far too many take aways and even quite a bit of clothes shopping (although some of this was necessary, some definitely was not).Despite all this I am actually still on track with my saving aims and I am in the black, so things are not as dire as they first seemed when taking stock.Going to try and get things pulled back. Nothing major, baby steps. Hopefully no big spends tomorrow and will try and post to keep myself accountable. There is work to be done on the house and if I don’t get a few pennies together it will have to be done at the expense of my savings plan and don’t want that. Here we go again.0

Only spend today was 46.93 on Tesco delivery. Otherwise no bills out and no other spends, thankfully.Quiet day in the house and all meals were made from stores.Major win today was dusting the upstairs surfaces and windowsills. I keep meaning to implement a cleaning rota but have yet to do this.Plan for tomorrow is minimal spends, possibly grass cut weather dependent, vacuum, list some stuff on gumtree and meals from what’s in. Let’s see how we get on.0

Filling out my spending diary for this month and am utterly horrified! Good grief. The purse is staying firmly shut for the rest of the month.0
