it goes through the motions..100%, but shows no channels at the end/start again. Any ideas PLEASE. Thanks

Using the freeview aerial, not Sky box

Do you have another TV you could try to make sure that there is a signal on the end of the cable?

Either you've not connected the aerial, the aerial has a fault, or you've told the TV you're not in the UK so it's looking for stuff on foreign platforms, which it won't find.  Do a factory reset to get it back to the "first state setup" mode and ensure you select UK as the country.

Have you just bought this? if so, my guess is that you damaged the aerial connector when you removed it from the old TV. Remake the connection between the co-ax cable and the connector and try again.

yeah think you are right. Have made up a lead/connection and will wait til new house and scan again. Thanks all
