Help! How to read meters?
Comments
-
Thanks everyone for input.
I have asked Lowri Beck for engineer to return and explain everything ( which he should have done at the time) but the message I received back was along the lines of ‘nothing to do with us gov.Speak to Avro’..
And of course when you call Avro these days it’s ....’we are only taking emergency calls..send an email’ Not sure I will get a reply...Me? A pessimist?..
What has happened to good service these days.?0 -
A bit off topic but I do agree that there should be a standard type of meterThere are way too many different buttons to press or screens to look at on all the different meter styles.
One standard style of meter could be made by any manufacturers
The there would be none of these issues, everybody would know how to read themFor example, those Secure Liberty electric meters, for one rate it was press 9 EXCEPT one supplier had to press 6 four times.
Which is all ok until the customer switches supplier, the meter reader turns up and takes the read from pressing 92
