If the restaurant got the order and delivered it- albeit to the wrong address- how is that Just Eat's problem?
Surly , it is the restaurant's problem.1 -
Theshedhed said:Hi just wondered if anyone had been scammed by just eat on new years eve, I made an order for a Chinese cost £43.00 restaurant said it was delivered but never was, Couldn't get in touch with just eat or restaurant they wouldn't answer phones or chat, eventually got to text chat to just eat three days later they investigated but refused refund as restaurant said it was delivered, I found that this happened to loads of people on new years eve at this restaurant all ordered through just eat, so I looked further afield and found this had happened at lots of other restaurants in my area all through just eat so if there's dozens of people who were scammed in my area what about in England hundreds thousands who knows, It's not about the money anymore be nice if just eat were named and shamed for what they did😡
Watch the Australian Nothing to Declare / Border Security TV programme! Disgusting!
Will not order any again. Will buy through supermarkets though? The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon0 -

I haven’t been affected, so not much help as far as the missing deliveries goes.I know you say you are not bothered by the money, but if you used PayPal you could submit a claim or contact your issuer if you used a card? You may not be bothered by the money, but why should you pay for something you haven’t had? You seem to be getting ignored and as far as the businesses are concerned the matter is dealt with, they’ve got what they want (money). Maybe if you started the process to get that back, they’d pay more attention to your complaint? 🤷🏻♀️Good luck, I hope you get it sorted out.1

Just Eat just handle the payment and sending the order so even if you ordered directly with the Chinese and paid them directly they still could have said it was delivered when it wasn't and kept the money.
So you should be naming and shaming the actual place that you ordered from.1
