Undelivered food delivery

Hi just wondered if anyone had been scammed by just eat on new years eve, I made an order for a Chinese cost £43.00 restaurant said it was delivered but never was, Couldn't get in touch with just eat or restaurant they wouldn't answer phones or chat, eventually got to text chat to just eat three days later they investigated but refused refund as restaurant said it was delivered, I found that this happened to loads of people on new years eve at this restaurant all ordered through just eat, so I looked further afield and found this had happened at lots of other restaurants in my area all through just eat so if there's dozens of people who were scammed in my area what about in England hundreds thousands who knows, It's not about the money anymore be nice if just eat were named and shamed for what they did😡

I ordered from a restaurant yesterday and they forgot one item, which Just Eat refunded whilst I was still eating the rest of it.
What area is this?1 -

A lot of restaurants took their phones off the hook as they had already reached capacity and people were still ringing. There were also issues with people accepting deliveries that went to the wrong address etc.
I do not think it is a scam, so much as a breakdown of the systems and processes, it is also not likely to have been hundreds of thousands or it would have been reported in the national news. I also do not think that there is a "name and shamed" element to this, all the food delivery services experience issues at the busiest times, even more those who are third party resellers (who mark up orders considerably) such as Just Eat, Uber Eats etc.2 -

When we went to collect our order, the phones were ringing off the hook and the staff were simply ignoring them.1 -
