Afternoon all- late one from me but wanted to wish nmlc a belated birthday. Hope you had a nice day. Also sending special thoughts to Redruby and family after your horrendous day.More thoughts going out to Bella, Marie and Topsy.I've had a day a little more interesting than the usual groundhog variety- this morning remotely guiding DGD with her Maths home schooling after both parents were stumped! Not quite sure that my experience of working in a primary school ( &14 years ago since I left
), and that mainly in Reception is much help for a 9 year olds Maths ! Anyway after a quick refresher I think I explained it ok so she was happy.
This afternoon DGS was dropped off by his Mummy. He'd already finished his school work so we had a satisfying session creating a model out of a cardboard box and painting it .I luckily put a beef stew in the IPot before all this so tea is ready whenever we are, also the BM has just finished so the house smells great. I managed to get up the road to the park this morning as it warmed up enough to start melting the ice.I think I'll have a cuppa and a catch up on here. DS2 has picked DGS up & took him back to his so all is quiet again.Take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
