Tom2023 said:Finally got it sorted but I don't know if you'll believe me.
Originally created an account with the Probate site and got sent to fill in the IHT forms.
Then came back and tried to login to access the online forms this sent me in a loop because I couldn't see the original application.
The help people told me the problem is it wants a different email address!
So I created an login with the same name but a different email address and hey presto I am in!!!!!!!2 -
Thank you for sharing.
I've had a similar problem when trying to book a trip to the tip for the past few months. Eventually I ring and book by phone which is great but does not solve the problem. OK, I know it's not so important but it is frustrating, going round and round. After reading this I just tried with a different email, same details and it worked! thanks

This post was very helpful to me as I had the exact same issue. I am on a Windows10 laptop and typically use Friefox. Had this exact problem. The web chat service is not available, tried their phone number but wait time is excessive. Sent email and got a reply after 5 days "try clearing the cache and cookies on your web browser" This didn't work.So tried using Microsoft Edge browser instead, same result. Finally tried Google Chrome and everything worked just fine.No need for me to try with a different email. Hope others find this helpful!

Thanks for this - I had the same looping issue and I just created a new user with a different email address and it worked perfectly first time!0

You don't receive an immediate acknowledgment of receipt of documents from HMCTS. The first I got was an email (after 10 days) saying that my application was being processed. Followed, two minutes later, by an email saying that probate had been granted.#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3660

I just received an email after 14 days to say they had received my application and supporting documents. I posted them Signed For. They say it could take up to 8 weeks to process it.0
